Areco NetAgent
Areco NetAgent is a multiplatform tool focused on managing activities, tasks, and reminders for teams. It is now called Areco Agent, the name NetAgent was used at the beginning because it was planned as the company’s first product built for the web. This project played an important role in my career, as it was developed as a base project that allowed the company to recognize my design skills, product thinking, and understanding of user experience, which directly contributed to my hiring.
My contribution
In addition to creating the initial design that helped me get hired, I continued working on the project after joining the company. I aligned the design with the tools and patterns used by the development team and also helped develop the platform. I worked on the frontend using Blazor with .NET, together with other developers, to turn the design into a working product.
Biggest challenges
As this was my first complete design project developed and presented to a company in a professional context, it came with a significant learning curve. It was my first time working on a concrete product with real business needs and expectations, and it also marked my first professional experience in design. Additionally, after the design was delivered and I joined the company, another challenge was turning that design into code. I was challenged to help implement the solution myself, adapting the design to the company’s technical environment and contributing directly to the development of the product.
